It's back! Huzzah! I feel like a goddess, though I would be nothing but a sad little puppy if it weren't for marxwasright, my HTML and webbie guru. Praise the Lord for marxwasright!
On other news, I have witnessed a strange and glorious phenomenon: Sex eyes. OK, not real sex eyes, but that's ok. They are strange and foreign to me nonetheless. Here my tale shall unfold.
It began with The Vagina Monologues, wherein my glorious moaning both excited and amazed audiences across the nation (or rather, audiences across the small black box theatre, but of what consequence is that, Reader?)--among my adoring fans were multitudes of professors. And it begins.
It started right after the performances, the stares and flustered giggles, accompanied by "that was brave" or "really, really good job tonight." And that's fine. Flattering, really. And it makes me feel pretty sexy. BUT it has progressed. Today, one of my professors--a nervous, giggly, middle-aged lesbian--said "great performance the other night. You'll have to do that again for me sometime." What. The. Fuck. ?!? You'll have to do that again for me sometime?!? Was this, or was this not, some oddly sexual comment? Am I not sane?
And then there is the middle-aged male hippie that teaches education classes, who told my friend (one of the directors) "Yeah, that spunkygypsy is a lot wilder than I thought she was. I'd like to get to know her better." OK, now is it just me, or does that sound like he wants to neck with me around a campfire while his friend plays John Denver tunes on the guitar? Oh no, Reader, it is not just me...
Of course there are more (the tech master in the theatre gave me some eyes, but said nothing--but he's smarmy enough that it didn't matter; a crazy girl in my art class asked how I knew all those noises; and let's not forget Socially Inept Coffee Boy--shudder).
Things that make you go hmm, as they say in bad 80s movies.
