I'm Missing the War

Well, after my previous entry things pretty much exploded on campus, and there I was leading the charge to keep man hours the same. It was a pleasant debate until the point at which people started calling names and talking about how homosexuality is a sin.
Really, if that's the strongest argument you have, maybe you should pack up and take it home, kids. Yeah. And then I got an email from someone who said "DON’T YOU DEAR TELL ME WHAT TO DO YOU DID NOT GIVE BIRTH TO ME AND YOU PROBABLY WONT GIVE BIRTH TO ANYONE" (annoying caps and horrible spelling errors not mine).
This frustrated me on oh so many levels, but especially because a)I want to have kids and b)I don't really get the point of what she was saying, but she finished her email by saying that any response on my part would be considered harassment in her opinion, which would result in mondo gigantic troubles for me. Blah. So I did the truly goodbitch thing and posted to the public folder that I didn't appreciate the immature and irrational nature of her personal response to me.
It may have been sort of little of me, but my, how fun. So lalala.
In other (unrelated) news, I am close to being all finished applying to Sarah Lawrence (yay me) and am nervous yet excited about the whole thing. All around good feelings there.
And seeing as this weekend would make for a lovely Easter holiday, I shall anon to my homestead tomorrow to see mi familia and partake in much free and tasty food. I never look forward to the three hour drive until I hit the beginnings of mountains, at which point my heart just leaps and bounds and is terribly happy, because it thinks mountains are the most beautiful thing.
This means, however, that after tomorrow I sha'n't be updating for a few days. Le sigh. I think you'll live. And in case you won't, here are some good links for you to visit while I am gone.
