It Hurts to Be This Sexy

	The date with Poly Girl was in fact so the opposite of a date that it wasn't even funny. Well, so not the total opposite. I was cute, as was she. I bought flowers as part of my new friend date revolution, wherein trips to the store or a restaurant that are planned at least a day in advance are dates and may include trinkets such as notes, flowers, cards, candy, and so on. Also kisses, but those are maybe reserved for friends who won't think that's weird. We headed to the movie, but ended up inviting two of her other friends, who sat with us. Because it was a movie, there was no talking, so sitting with other people was fine. But really I should have vetoed the other people, as I secretly wanted it to be an actual date with just the two of us for a while. After the movie we dinered. With Skirt Girl and Portland Friend. Again, quite fun and exciting, but so not a date that it's not even funny. Yes. My cuteness was mighty, though. I wore a knee length plaid skirt, tight yellow baseball tee shirt with the sleeves cut off, a bright green work jacket, cowboy hat and high heels. Also glitter on my eyelids. I wasn't even looking for action, really, just a little cuddle time. The four of us went back to Poly Girl's room to "do work," which for me meant sitting around trying not to distract the undergrads. Keep in mind that it was two in the morning at this point, and nobody should have been working anyway. Color me mildly annoyed. I slept over in the spare mattress, which I shared with Portland Friend. We brunched this morning. My nakedness makes people uncomfortable sometimes, and I cannot figure out why. Particularly when the people it makes uncomfortable are ones I've had sex with. I mean, hello, you've been here and hung out with the nakedness of me already. Why should it bother you now? I will now attempt to do work at home.
