Snerky McSnarks A Lot

There are evenings when sounds like "erk" and "phleg" sum up your feelings, and in fact, this is one of those nights. So erk. Also, phleg.
I am doing laundry at Library Chick's house, but feel as though I should have gone into the city to support a fellow dragster this evening. Mostly I didn't go because I decided I should take a wrinkly prune shower bath and then dry my hair so that it fell ever so sexily into my eyes. Yes, that's not a good reason for staying home. I think that's why I feel crappy about it.
I have plenty of work to be doing at the moment, and should really be getting on it. In particular, I have a thesis snippet due Tuesday (or rather, before Tuesday, I guess maybe Monday) as well as the second half of some Foucault to read and my paper for the conference I'm going to in March to re-read and revise. Ha ha tra la, I say.
I have been leaving friendster testimonials all night and attempting to play games on the computer. I have burned a CD and eaten dinner. I am currently drinking a pear cider that may or may not have been off limits.
Tomorrow I anon to Boston for dragging purposes, and I expect to have Big Fun, as in all Teenage Suicide, Don't Do It and what not. In fact yes. There will be very little in the way of faked suicides and a whole lot in the way of packies named SquishyJack. I should try to look on that bright side for a moment.
I shall go and do work for a mere thirty minutes (a short span of time) before retiring to the innumerable possibilities of the button maker I brought with me tonight.
I shall not say the words erk or phleg for at least one hour. A lofty goal, but doable I think.
