Is it incredibly childish of me to be quite annoyed with Shmohawk for not ever emailing me? Yes. Am I dealing with it by "punishing her" with a severe lack of communication on my part? Yes again. Is it working; will it ever? No no no. Maybe the fact that I realize that makes it a little less childish. Or maybe not.
Anyway. I'm doing this thing I found from the lovely and talented %%diary-might%% because it's better than being childish. Right.

17. I sometimes think I have a tendency to be outgoing to a fault, as though perhaps I am a bit over the top.
18. I've been rowing a lot lately, and my back hurts in a strangely satisfying manner.

20. I miss the sun a lot in the winter, and am waiting excitedly for the longer days of spring and summer.
21. I often wonder what pain and attraction and gender feel like to other people, to the point that it almost frustrates me not to understand.

32. i love baby animals, but not if I have to raise them.
33. i want an explanation for everything, but i love ambiguity anyhow.
34. I vacillate between wanting to spend every moment possible away from my apartment (and outside, in restaurants and clubs and bars and concerts and such) wanting to be inside cooking and never leave.
35. I look sort of pregnant in my winter gear, and have taken to calling my stomach my "baby" whose name is Herald Square. I even make her kick sometimes.
36. i think outsourcing is killing our country and its economy, and i think more workers should organize.
37. i hope the democrats can come up with a good candidate, and i am ashamed of my growing skepticism about the political process in general. (and the democratic candidates specifically).
38. I do a lot of listening. A lot lot lot.
39. i am very close with my (overprotective, overinvested) parents.
40. But I haven't really told them I'm queer, so maybe we aren't that close. Hmm.
41. i really enjoy thoughtful gifts. And I can't think of anyone who doesn't.
42. My car has over 300,000 miles racked up. Her name is Mystery Blue.
43. i am an excellent liar. Maybe.
44. i have not had a cigarette in almost a week. Because I do not smoke.
