It Hurts to Be This Sexy

The Extended Version

It's been big time ridiculous busy lately. I've been in the city every night since Thursday, and can hardly believe it. Good times, though.

Friday I worked a day that felt like eternity but that really only lasted four hours, after which I worked out and went to The Vagina Monologues. The show was pretty rockin, though I swear I still do the meanest Woman Who Loved to Make Vaginas Happy of them all. Mean mean mean. Tonight at the pit, everyone gets laid. Anyway.

A few First Year Friends were in the show, and I ended up making a night of it with them. We went to Rainer Maria and danced our asses and legs off. It was mildly ridiculous in the most perfect ways. Afterwards, I drove X into the city to pick up her cell phone and the First Years and I went to Veg City for vegan delights.

Basically, I had a night that reminded me so much of every good thing about Undergrad (to the billionth degree) that it made me wish I could go back there. Or not, but yeah, I relived it anyway and it was good.

As an aside, I just had a mini conversation with one of my First Year Friends, and egads if she isn't the cutest thing ever. She's doing a sexy food/poetry/edible body painting thing. We're soul sisters, maybe.

Right then, so Valentine's day was also exciting as I bought My First Packie(!). Color me jazzed. I'm going to put it on when I get home, though I'm not entirely comfortable with wearing it outside the home just yet. Alas. It is freaking fabulous though, waiting in its powdery cornstarch home for me to take it out and lurve it. One of my Programmites helped me shop, and after we finished we ate at the most amazing Cuban place. In other words, the day was positively the most fabulous day of Vee that I've ever had (I think).

When I got home I followed Mr. Brezsny's advice and made a list of ten things I love. He was (unsurprisingly) correct about the fact that they are the things that make me get up in the morning. Life blood, really. If I keep talking about it I'll just cheese out. It was great, anyway.

Tonight I picked up an Atlanta Emo Friend from the airport and took her around the city a bit. We ate Ethiopian food and I walked her around SoHo, where I ended up finding my most favorite type of tea at a little restaurant. It was a brilliant close to a brilliant weekender.

I want to be on a permanent vacation that includes lots of travel, lots of drag, and lots of the city. At least for a while.
